This page will be your step by step guide for the entire process...
Step 1 - Registering a domain. (You may continue without a domain. We will build your site under a temporary domain at no extra cost, then transfer your site to your domain later.)
First we will need to get a domain name registered for you. If you have already done this, we will need to get your domain pointed toward our server by updating your nameservers. Remember to let us know if you already have email under this domain, as we will need to update your mailservers to avoid interrupting your service. Step 2 - Signing up.
Next, you will want to secure your web hosting and content management. This will keep your site hosted and allow you to make unlimited updates to your content text and images.
Step 3 - Template selection.
You have now signed up for hosting and content management, and created an account. Now you are ready to select a template. We will customize all animated images, text and navigation links within the header/navigation area, for the template of your choice. Be sure to select a template which will work for you, and feel free to ask as many questions as you like. We do have some limitations on what can be edited. For instance, we do not offer major site re-designs, color scheme changes, or additional custom Flash work. If you do need more navigation links than your selection provides, we will build a second css based navigation for you which can hold an unlimited amount of links. You now have the perfect template selected, and are ready to submit your template selection, as well as some basic information which will allow us to get your site online. Once the basic structure of your site has been uploaded, you can begin reviewing our work and letting us know of any additional changes you would like to have made.
Step 5 - Navigation menu.
Your site is now online, and you can see our progress as we go to work creating you navigation. This part of the process is a bit more customized than the previous stages, and a simple form will not be capable of communicating your needs. Please email, or call us and let us know exactly what you would like to see happen at this point. Remember, this is where you create the foundation for your entire site, so it would be a good idea to take some time to plan accordingly.
By default, your site will be set up with a home page layout (multi-column), and a content page layout (single-column). However, your design comes with a variety of page layouts to choose from. At your request, we will install our content management system on additional page layouts. You may decide to use any layout you like for any page.
Step 7 - Content management.
Once you have approved the structure of your website, we will provide you with your password.
